Sharp point & an elongated eye.
Best for repairs to non-stretch (woven) fabrics using thicker thread.
If a darning needle isn't sharp enough to pierce through the fabric, opt for a chenille needle instead.
Thin vs Thick
Thin needles are suitable for medium-weight fabrics.
Thick needles are suitable for heavier fabrics.
Long vs. Short
Short are perfect for repairs to small holes/areas & sewing in loose tails.
Long are perfect for repairs to larger holes/areas & sewing long lines of stitches.
