These needles are similar in length and diameter to tapestry needles, but feature a sharp point that enables them to easily pass through closely woven fabrics.
 
Suitable for:
darning, patching, embroidery and sewing in loose ends.
mending medium-heavy weight woven fabrics e.g denim.
sewing with up to 6 strands of embroidery floss (dependent on needle size).
